How many parents would like to defray the cost of Band participation?

Well, the Highlander Band Parent Association (HBPA) supports 3 ongoing fund raisers. Two that are as

simple as registering grocery club cards, credit cards or ATM/debit cards and then using them on every

purchases.

Ralphs offers a 4% cash back when Club Card users register their cards with us. Then when purchasing

groceries at Ralphs. eScrip goes one step further, by registering Vons or Safeway Club Cards, Visa,

MasterCard, Macys and ATM/debit cards. Participating merchants give back between 2 - 10% of

the purchases back to our organizationeach month. Registration for these programs are open to parents,

family and friends.

We also have a paper scrip program that offers a 2 - 20% rebate to our program. The scrip is a gift

certificate that can be used at the participating merchant same as cash. All you do is purchase the

gift card at face value, such as $50 Shell Card, then use it a Shall to purchase you fuel. The

difference between the face value and our discount purchase price is your profit.

The best part of these programs is that 50% of our profit is given back to the students account.

These funds can be used to pay for student fees, uniform cost, and other band expenses.

By helping support the band you are supporting your own student as well.

If you are already a Macy's Credit Card Holder, please register your card at

www.escrip.com/myescrip. If you don't have access to the Internet, call (800) 254-5404.

Once your Macy's Credit Card is registared, simpy shop at any participating Macy's stores

and 2% to 6% of your purchases will be directed to our organization.

Ralphs Groceries now has a support program offering non-profit organizations cash back

from supporting Ralphs Club Card Holders. This program gives our group 4% of club card

purchases each quarter. To register your Club Card click on the link below to print off the

form and mail it back to HBPA, P.O. Box 34567, Granada Hills, CA 91356.
